Joy Lutheran Preschool is a Christ-centered Lutheran Preschool dedicated to fanning the flame of Christ in the hearts of every child and family by providing a foundation of lifelong faith, and a place in which words and actions reflect a belief in God’s love for all people.
Our History
Joy Lutheran Preschool is the new name of Pilgrim Lutheran Preschool. Pilgrim Lutheran Preschool opened in 1992 and faithfully served the greater Bellevue community as a early childhood program for 30 years. Prior to being a Preschool, Pilgrim Lutheran School operated as a day school from K-6th grade from the mid 1960’s – 1989. Both the day school and Preschool are extension of the ministry of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, now Joy Lutheran Church. Joy Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and the Preschool is part of the Lutheran Schools network.
